Sharon and Ron Harper are the principals and founders of Harper Information Services located in Lake Mary, Florida specializing in competitive intelligence research, Internet research, market research and online research for clients worldwide. As small business owners, they understand how important it is to have current and reliable information when making those strategic business decisions.

Sharon has over 25 years experience working in banking, trust administration and the travel industry. She has a background in working with the government sector and nonprofits. Sharon is a member of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) where she is the recipient of the AIIP 2009 Myra T. Grenier Award; an award presented to the most promising, growing information professional.

Ron has over 35 years experience working in the U.S. military and the defense industry. He is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and has worked as a business developer, operations manager and project manager in the simulation and training industry as a defense contractor. Ron is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Ron is also a member of the AIIP and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Management from the University of Kentucky, and has earned a Masters in Computer Resources & Information Management and a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University.
